Ratpack travel is run by Sam, a mancunian operating out of a small office adjacent to a hostel in Byron Bay. I cannot fault him or his company at all,
it was excellent in all respects. Unlike some of the other larger competitors, Ratpack passes potential discounts onto the customers, and whilst
there may not be a huge difference what you do get is the best customer service. I would say I’m fairly well travelled and have used a lot of tour
operators but never have I met someone who loves so much what they do. Ratpack will take you through all the options, make an itinerary and advice
you on all kinds of minute details in a very chilled environment. However, possibly the best thing about my personal experience was that, our plans
to stay aboard a boat at the whitsundays were ruined by hurricane Debbie and so we opted to go to the great barrier reef instead. Sam effectively
communicated with us and provided a refund with no qualms and organised our great barrier reef trip. Great company, great guy. Would throughly
This company is literally the best. Sam is amazing. He has helped us thoroughly with all our camper and tour activities, went out of his way to write us
a whole itinary and refunded us 100% of our Whitsunday tour money no questions asked straightaway, while everyone else we spoke to had 90% refunded
by their tour companies and had to worry about claiming to last 10% off their insurance. He has helped us out so much along the way couldnt of done
Australia or NZ without him. Gave us the lowest quote out of about 40 other companies we emailed and then some. He even went the extra mile when our
bank card got cancelled suddenly by getting in contact with our camper pick up place and arranging for them to sign for and hold it for us. Completely
unfaultable and amazing service we wouldnt use anyone else now and cant recommend Sam and his company enough to everyone we meet. We owe you a beer
Sam. Thank you so bloody much! Con and Mike X
