I hired a camper, well a 'converted car' really, called a "spaceship' through RatPack for 2 weeks in Tasmania. I was told there was nothing else available from their suppliers and that Spaceships were last choice. My experience was somewhat downcast by this lack of choice but the holiday overall was great. On my return to Melbourne, Sammy the owner of RatPack Travel took the time to follow up my booking and explain in detail why the options were limited and how they appreciated my feedback. This level of customer service is exemplary and I am truly impressed. Even though we can’t turn the clock back, I would recommend travellers wishing to hire a camper in Tasmania, book well in advance if you want greater choice of rental companies and the pick of prices.

An absolutely fabulous service! My friend and I very last minute decided we’d like to hire a campervan for a roadtrip but we were getting very overwhelmed with all the information from different companies and hidden costs etc. We got in touch with Ratpack Travel and within minutes a lovely man named Sam gave us a call and managed to sort a van for us in under half an hour.
