A little about me:
I have dreamt about moving over to this side of the world since I was 15 and I still can't believe that I am here! From the beaches, the people, the weather and the wildlife (and great coffee!), Australia really is all that it is cracked up to be (although I do miss a good dog walk and pub lunch in the countryside of course).
My hobbies are:
Other than of course travelling and camping, I have been horse riding for as long as I can remember (I know... classic Surrey!). But, I also absolutley love going for hikes in new places with friends and a bit of photography when I can.
Favourite spot in Australia:
I know I may be biased because I live here but it has to be Byron Bay! It has the perfect balance of small town but with lots going on, beautiful beaches, rolling hills, the INSANE wildlife (whale season here is unreal) and the people are great too. It's just a must see spot on the East Coast.
Backpacking tips:
Be prepared for plans to change! I am a super organised person but from all my travels I have come to realise that the best parts were never actually planned! Although it is of course great to have a rough idea of where you want to go and what you want to see, speak to people you meet along the way, get their advice and hit the road. That is the glory of travelling in a camper!
