A little about me:
I landed a job in AUS with some friends while in the UK, and we thought it was only going to be a 6 month adventure... but after falling in love with the country and the weather I completed my regional work so I could stay longer! Now here I am 6 years on.
I have travelled and been to over 150 different places in AUS, so I would definitely recommend coming to see the country’s amazing beaches and amazing cities!
My hobbies are:
Golf on weekends with the boys from the office, football, camping/campervanning, and just traveling in general!
Favourite spot in Australia:
My favourite spot is definitely Fraser Island (K’gari). I love that there’s no reception and you can be completely off grid. It’s a real retreat, you have to go. You can’t take a campervan onto the is, but the roads on the way to Fraser (up from Brisbane or down from Cairns) are amazing, so you can make a full trip of it.
Backpacking tips:
Very simple, leave the backpack and get a Campervan or Motorhome!!
