A little about me:
I came to Australia for a short holiday as most do, and ended up staying! Although the basketball scene isn’t as big here, I’m happy trading that and the Welsh rain for the sunshine and beaches of Byron. I lived in Melbourne for 6 months before heading up the coast, and although Melbourne will always be a special place to me, I’ve made friends for life here in Byron.
My hobbies are:
I love to cook, whether it's whipping up something healthy for myself or hosting a big gathering. I especially enjoy BBQs, and I’m known among my housemates and friends for being the grill guy.
Another passion that’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember is basketball. I’ve been playing since I was a kid, and over the years I've developed a strong understanding of the game’s tactics and strategy, and I’m grateful that I can continue this here in Byron.
Favourite spot in Australia:
Easy, The Great Ocean Road. It's an epic drive, crazy views, and I had great fun camping down there with my mates. Don’t miss the 12 Apostles, especially at sunset. Backpacking tips:
Speak to everyone! And be open to changing your plans. The only reason I‘m here today is because I made friends in my first hostel in Melbourne, and I’ve continued my journey with them ever since.
