So if you’re ready to jump out of a plane or thinking about doing it… read on and we’ll let you in on our RatPack fave locations to free fall and scare the life out of your mum!

Where to skydive?
Cairns – See the Great Barrier Reef from above
Whilst your in Cairns it’s pretty likely that you’ll be heading out on a snorkelling or scuba trip of the great barrier reef! You’ve seen it underwater… now how about seeing it from the sky! This absolutely massive beauty can even be seen from space and you can see it from a birds eye view by doing a skydive up here. Not only will you see the reef, you’ll also be able to see the Daintree Rainforest from the sky!
Mission Beach – Land on the beach!
The home of the beach skydiving landing, Mission beach offers epic views and a landing like no other. If you didn’t know already, all the other skydive locations, you’ll be landing in the airfield after your jump. Not in Mission Beach though! You’ll be landing right on the sand and coming very close to the sea! It’s an epic experience and one of our faves because of its unique landing.
Byron Bay – Give us a wave
Byron Bay is an absolute beauty from the ground but even better from 15,000ft! You’ll see how vast the hinterland around Byron is and also see all of the beautiful crystal clear water and rolling beaches. This doubles up as a scenic flight as you’ll see all of the cape {where the lighthouse is!} as well as the surrounding area. If you do it between July and October you might even see the whales on their migration!
Sydney – Does it get anymore iconic??
If you are starting your east coast roadie in Sydney then what better than to dive right into the deep end and do a skydive checking out this world famous city and the surrounds?! If you are ending your trip here then what better way to round up your trip of a lifetime! Basically, jumping in Sydney is an epic option and you’ll get to take in those good views yewwwwwwww.
Aussie offers so many adrenalin experiences and skydiving is absolutely up there, the RatPack crew love a skydive.. So much so that some of our crew have jumped up to 3 times!!
We’ve dropped some of our top tips below when it comes to your skydive:
- Wear trainers and gym gear (aka not loose clothing!)
- You can’t take your own go pro, if you want to get shots of your experience, buy the camera and video package at the jump zone
- Allow at least half a day for the whole experience!
- Book with us and we can save you $$$ on the direct rate yewwww!
